Clark and wife Sandy were cruising with son Dane and daughter Ally on the beach, taking a walk while dad ran around shooting family photos with his camera encased in a waterproof housing. Maybe something for the family Christmas card. The weather was not good for shooting waves and then suddenly it was: Just like that, the sun popped out and lit up some little crystal cylinders breaking inside the inner reef. Clark slipped out there and got a few including this one, which has become one of his most popular images. Moral of the story: You never know when a magical moment appears. Note: If you look closely, that little blob of pink in the corner is his daughter Ally's inner tube.
